Yvonne Garrett Patterson is the founder and principal planner of Moore Vision Public Relations and Planning (MVP), a registered business in the State of New Jersey.  She has over twenty years experience in building effective campaigns, sustainable initiatives and notable projects for clients and business ventures. 


Yvonne has worked in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. She has successfully worked with municipalities, agencies, private developers, corporate and business leaders. Yvonne has gained the respect and confidence of her clients and has received awards and recognition for her leadership and project vision. Her understanding of "building product value, identity, and place" are key ingredients to gain public attention, awareness, and participation for local and global impact.


Highlights of her professional record include being the principal player of development initiatives such as Haley Heritage Square in Knoxville, TN, working with an array of organizations such as the City of Knoxville, Knox County, Tennessee State Government, Knoxville Community Development Corporation and Kimberly Clark Corporation, winning her agency the Cultural Olympiad Award from the Olympic Games Commission.  She is the visionary for the Newark Airport City Aerotropolis, www.newarkairportcity.com, and Community Airport Access Plan, also known as CAAP, marketing these initiatives with the City of Newark, Rutgers University School of Business, New Jersey Institute of Technology, the Prudential Foundation, and a list of area agencies, local residents and regional stakeholders.

  

Yvonne was the event manager for mayor-elect, New Jersey Senator and presidential candidate Cory Booker and was selected by the United States Innaugural Committee to serve on both president-elects Barak Obama's and Donald Trump's inauguration teams.  Yvonne has a personal commitment to areas pertaining to "quality of life."  She currently serves as Vice-Chair for the South Ward Economic and Community Development Corporation, former co-moderator for the Presbyterian Women in the Newark Presbytery and founder of the Clinton Hil Concerned Citizens and the Local Initiatives SupportCorporation's Clinton Hill Coalition.


Yvonne gravitated to public relations and planning as a performing artist and art administrator, a student at Herbert Bergdorf New York, a graduate of the Women's Campaign School, Yale University, professional development in business at Knoxville College and recent graduate of Rutgers University Entrepreneurship Pioneer Initiative.  Her goal is to continue to help individuals, businesses, governments, and communities to reach public relations and planning objectives.
